Project V is a set of tools to help you build your own privacy network over the Internet. The core of the Project, named V2Ray, is responsible for the network protocols and communications. It can work alone or combine with other tools.
V2Ray is a free, open-source, cross-platform, peer-to-peer, privacy-first, encrypted, end-to-end encrypted, and secured VPN (Virtual Private Network) proxy and gateway. It supports multiple VPN protocols (OpenVPN, IKEv2, WireGuard) and may also support some custom protocols. It provides a VPN server or a server-less VPN.
V2Ray can encrypt the traffic of the network that it is running on. It has built-in obfuscation to hide the traffic in the TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocol of the Internet. It can work as an HTTP proxy and reverse proxy. It is an open-source, cross-platform, peer-to-peer, privacy-first, and secured VPN (Virtual Private Network) proxy and gateway.
